About Me
Hello, my name is Juan Alves Pedreira, I have nineteen years old and I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. Since I was a child I liked computers, smartphones, technologies in general and now after study a lot I am so happy because I have been able to understand how these technologies works and how to create computer programs or webpages from scratch.
I started my journey on this IT field when I enter in the university, I am studying Computer Engineering in the Universidad de la Republica university where I already completed two years of the carreer and I learn about maths, programming basics on pascal language and algorithms, complex data structures, efficient memory handling and time complexity on c++ language.
When I learned about programming basics I got interested on web development and I started to study HTML and CSS using MDN documentation and youtube videos. Later I have the opportunity to participate on a one year programming course called Jovenes a Programar in which I learn about transversal skills, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Javascript in detail, in this course I do an ecommerce with some course mates, this project helps me a lot to improve my blind skills such as comunication and team work for example.
Now I am improving my ability to writing and speak in english and I am studying new technologies that helps me to do better works as a web developer, for example I am learning React JS, Typescript, Sass, and Tailwind CSS. You can see all the projects that I am doing on these technologies in my github.
